Buying a shikibuton from J-life soon. Should I go with the 3 inch or 4 inch model?

My girlfriend and I are Americans and switching to a shikibuton. We’ve been sleeping on a cheap Fuli futon from Amazon but it’s too thin and hurts our hips. I’m 6’1” and 190 pounds and shes 5’7” and 134 pounds. Should we go with the 3 or 4 inch model from this specific brand? Thanks!
