My idea is to, when you press CTRL S, the room hash that is sent to the multiplayer is saved under an attribute under <room> called URL_hash=
This way, website.com/index.html , website.com/ and website.com/index.html?test=1, as well as both the HTTP and HTTPS version will all resolve to the same in multiplayer.
This would also open up the ability for rooms with mismatching URLs to be designated as the same place as each other on the multiplayer server.
Even if Janus gains the capability to automatically resolve URLs, this would still be a useful capability.

this probably makes more sense since you don't need to hash the URL manually. instead, it's just the reference URL
