This is a pretty cool summary of how Janet’s studio albums have done over time. I’m not sure the sources, but I assume these are global sales figures, and they look about right to me.

Not covered are hits packages such as DOAD. Hit packages usually cannibalize back catalog sales as casual fans will look to them first. Essentially all the hits from Control and RN1814 were featured on DOAD, which I expect hurt their sales thereafter. Barely anything from Janet was covered and there wasn’t another Greatest Hits until 2010
