Call to Action
A staple jam/scene venue here in Roanoke Virginia is set to close their doors in Jan 23 if they are unable to come up with the money to buy the building. Anyone familiar with the venue knows its importance to the SWVA and Roanoke Valley music scene. Not only is it an important music venue but also a leader in local community service through their music therapy programs for special needs clients, and hearing loss advocacy efforts. They are accepting donations large and small in an effort to save the venue. This year's acts have included the likes of
-Melvin Seals and JGB -Neighbor -Lespecial -Toubab Krewe -Runaway Gin -Daniel Donato -Kitchen Dwellers -CATS -Boombox
And that's just in 2022. The brand keeps growing and 2023 is sure to bring great things if they're able to find the funding. There is no other venue in a 3 hour or more drive offering a community to our kind like 5 points.
Long post and I'm sorry but just love this place and don't want to see it go. Any help from the reddit jam pham is so so greatly appreciated. One love yall
