As we know, Jaime and Brienne carry twin swords, Widow's Wail (to be renamed, hopefully) and Oathkeeper. Up until this point, I think the swords haven't been in the same place at the same time, close to each other, but if Jaime is about to go haring off with Brienne as she asks him to do at the end of A Dance with Dragons, what happens when the swords are in the same place at the same time? Is it special? Is it nothing? Does Brienne notice that Jaime carries WW now, or does he tell her? I'm personally very fond of the idea that they start glowing (the swords, not the people), just to up the spooky quotient, but that's not everybody's cup of tea. But do they glow or behave magically when they fight the Others? What's the significance of the twin swords anyway, other than making sure Jaime and Brienne will be reunited at some point?
