So my keyboard tweak has been getting reports that it's stopping people from sending MMS (or rather, the recipient side does not get it at all).

We FOUND the EXACT cause. It’s 2 Apple coding categories conflicting with each other.

If your iPhone is not Jailbroken, then librairies always load in the same order thus the 2 categories do not conflict with each other. If you are Jailbroken then that’s not the case depending on what tweaks you have installed (those that use IMAGENT). It’s completely random if it works or does not work for you, and a reboot influiences this.

Impossible to fix….? well yes and no. We can’t fix it of course if you don’t have bite installed but if you do, we’ll add a low-level hook to prevent the 2 categories clashing. So, the funny thing is if you have this issue then you’ll HAVE TO use biteSMS to get iMessage multi-media working on your iPhone. I guess that’s our Karma for spending weeks of time on it ;-)

So uh.. anyone else here familiar with it? What exactly is the low-level hook he's talking about, and which coding categories?
