Hey folks, I've been scratching my head trying to figure out how to make this activator action work.
Background: I'd like to have an activator set up to automatically send an sms message to myself when I arrive at work, and when I leave work, for ease of hours accounting.
I don't think activator has an option to base an action on your gps location, but SBProfiles is supposed to. Right now I have SBProfiles set up to open up the messages app when I arrive and leave work, but then I'd have to enter my contact into the send field, and use a keyboard shortcut to write out 'Arriving Work' and 'Leaving Work' and then send it. Is there a better way to automate this?
Also, in my past experience, SBProfiles location based services has been pretty buggy... If you guys have any suggestions, even if it doesn't use location services, let me know.
My other thought was to use a menu when I connect to/disconnect from my car's Bluetooth. But, I haven't been able to think up an action to accomplish that either.
