Whether you've seen him once, or two dozen times; with all four of his (popular) bands or just one; this spreadsheet aims to provide fans with a better visual experience in regards to which songs they have and haven't heard live. While setlist.fm is a fantastic tool in regards to tracking which concerts you've attended, and how many times you've heard specific songs, it has no way of telling you what you haven't heard yet.
Which brings me to...
Every White Stripes, Raconteurs, Dead Weather, and Jack White song is on this list, organized by album, including every B-side and non-album track. In addition to this, I've included the most common live covers for each band. If you take a peek at the setlist.fm stats, you'll quickly learn that including every cover song is nearly impossible. There's a massive list of songs he's only played once in each band, so for simplicity's sake, I've only included the most common ones. In order to use this spreadsheet, you'll need to make a copy for yourself, anyway, so feel free to change the list of cover songs to songs that you want to include.
Another great feature about this spreadsheet is that it acts as a definitive (please correct me if I missed a song) list of every song Jack White has ever recorded, so if you are a B-side hunter like me, you could also use this spreadsheet to keep track of which songs you still need to add to your collection.
While I've included a key on the right side of the sheet, here's a screenshot of my own list so you can better understand how to use it:
The way this works is that rather than just checking a box next to each song, you can check each song off with different colors. For example, I have seen Jack White play White Stripes songs, so those songs will be checked off with a blue box. But what if you've heard Jack White play a song and the original band play the same song? Having seen both The Raconteurs and Jack White, Steady As She Goes, for example, is checked with a green box (for Raconteurs) but with a white "III." "A" is how I've chosen to denote acoustic performances, and "S" is how I've chosen to denote snippets.
So please, enjoy using this spreadsheet. Maybe you'll discover that over the years you've heard entire albums worth of songs. Share your checklist in the comments. I want to see who's got the most impressive list of deep cuts and rarities.
