Hopefully this storm will fizzle or hit less populated areas. However our insurance industry in the state is very fragile at best. Regardless of where this hits we all could be impacted.
If additional insurance companies are downgraded more people will have to move to Citizens since those companies will no longer be acceptable for mortgage companies.
The impacts to Citizens will be felt by all. We all pay part of our premiums to support the state backed company. This could cause housing cost to spike even higher in the state.
