So, we saw a BIG change with Crusher this episode.
He gained the ability to talk.
Some people might be thinking "The Character has completely changed" but I disagree. Look at it this way. Crusher has been with this group for a while and he's made some really close friendships, as a low int character he may have problems understanding/dealing with his emotions. As these emotions have developed, he's beginning to see how the people he cares about react to his VIOLENT way of life. Some of them are appalled by it, when others rely on it. Through all of this he's had no voice. Now that he has found (Installed?) his voice he can finally speak his mind and share how he feels, but he doesn't understand how he feels. So he reverts back to who people see him as, a killer, a thug, a violent person. Why do you think he was so adamant about not calling Hadiyah? He doesn't want to confront his emotions, he may have found his voice, but he can't voice how he feels.
Now I don't know if JP intended this via his RP of Crusher this episode. If he did, that's some top level RP.
