FOSS Apps for Sale

I spent $20 on ArmorPaint and I love the app, I know it is Open Source and I could have just compiled myself, but I hate the Haxe Language with a passion. I was thinking, I make a lot of FOSS plugins for Godot, but they are native(C/C and Rust Plugins) that bind to GdScript and C#. Would it be strange for me to sell windows and mac binaries? In my experience compiling anything on those platforms is just a living hell. Any Thoughts?
