I had one Jidetech bullet camera for well over a year. Performed flawlessly in android app, web browser and iSpy.

Having been happy with it I bought another and have had nothing but trouble with ALL of them including the original camera since that time.

Now the DOME camera (PTZ Plus 5MP) was working fine on the bench so today mounted outside in it's final resting place. I have video. It is upside down and pointing uselessly at side of house. Said "Fine, log in flip video and use PTZ to place where I want"

But now cannot log in to camera. It refuses both the password I set and the default. It does not appear in any of the setup utilities. It's IP is invisible although it is shown as connected when I view my gateway configuration.

The video does play in VLC so assume if that is the case it is taking the password okay in that...so why does it refuse the exact same password when trying to access in browser to adjust aim and orientation? I have rebooted by pulling power. ( PoE) and it boots, does a sweep left to right and comes to rest in the wrong place again.

Of course in VLC there is no PTZ control over camera, likewise in iSpy ( the controls come up but do nothing)

I basically have no means to use the camera if I cannot access any settings. All of China is on vacation.
