Should I just make a scrap bin out of my dairy cow culture?

I am not kidding when I say I have got way too many of these little buggers on my hands. I think they've reached the cap of what their bin can hold and selling some did not curb their population at all.

I feel that the population would naturally reach its cap and no longer grow, but the problem is these guys are constantly getting food because I end up giving them too much veggies since I worry about each little friend getting food. I no longer think keeping them in their current enclosure is good for their population size. So, I was wondering if I should get a larger bin, more like a tub and just treat them as my compost bin.

I know there would be the concern of ammonia build up, but I add nitrifying bacteria into their substrate. I'd make sure to stir it up once in awhile. Does anybody have any thoughts to weigh in?
