Is loading in supposed to take this long?

I just recently downloaded this game not even 30 mins ago and its just endlessly loading after I hit the play game button within the game after making my name. To the point where the loading music just stops playing altogether. I waited 10 mins the first time and then force quit due to the fact that alt f4 wasn't working. I'm currently loading up the game again and I'm getting the same loading with no menu music. Am I doing something wrong or does this game have a queue that I'm not seeing or does it genuinely take this long to load in?

Any answers would be appreciated.
