Salam everyone i was in a haram relationship and trust me you won't find peace in it

So as it says in the title i was in a haram relationship with a girl and we use to be friends and first and then i developed feelings for her and confessed her about them and surprisingly she did accepted them. It was all good for a month and then things start going downhill we used to fight on regular basis even on small things and then one day i just couldn't bear it anymore and brokeup with her. At least my mind is at peace now and i feel much closer to Allah
