Is it okay to punish myself for a sin I’ve committed ?

Salam and do dua for me brothers and sisters. I have a committed a sin I am too ashamed to say, but my research shows it must be punished with 100 lashes or execution. I will not kill my self and will beg for the mercy and forgiveness of Allah (SWT). I will also be performing Hajj as soon as possible. But, I wish to give myself these 100 lashes to ensure I never commit this sin again. Is this okay or is this considered self-mutilation and not allowed ? I am unable to ask another Muslim to give me these lashes.
