fi dom but im not sure about reasons behind my emotions

im an isfp, i consider myself to be very emotional but i dont understand why i feel the certain ways that i do. sometimes i just feel certain emotions for seemingly no reason and it’s difficult for me to get to the bottom of them.
if fi doms are supposed to be most in touch with their inner emotions, why do i feel like i can’t find their “causes”.
i’d like to be able to understand the roots of certain emotions to better understand myself, but it seems so difficult and idk why!
