So, I am at best a casual fan and I have a question. I sometimes put on IM on Spotify, like other 80s metal bands I like. Also like the others, it sometimes puts on songs from new albums.
What is unusual, is just how often I hear a song that's an absolute banger, check the album, and see that it's from like the mid 2000s or even later. Like, an impossible frequency.
This post was motivated by Dance of Death showing up on my playlist, and holy shit, what a song.
So I gotta ask. What's the common consensus among the fandom? Did Iron Maiden defy gravity and just never fall off? Or am I just weird?
