Hello!
I'm planning my trip to Northern Ireland from the 18th - 28th of october and I have two questions:
I allready managed to find a lot of nice footballmatches (I'm basically traveling for football and history), but it seems like all the matches are only on saturday (except a few ones). The websites for the amateur-leagues don't really help, because they seem not to be very up to date (I tried https://www.thenafl.co.uk/ ).
So do the amateur leagues end so soon in the year? I wanted to visit Celtic in Belfast or maybe Crewe United, but the websites are not showing any fixtures during the later times of the year.
Also I installed the App of the IFA, but they don't show matches in the later future (as it seems to me).
So is there any way to find out about this?
Or does someone have another "special" advice for a nice ground? (Glentoran, Cliftonville, Portadown and the match of Larne FC against Shamrock are for sure allready on my list :) )
Maybe added: Are the dates and times are allready safe from the official website, or will there be any change a few weeks before the matchday? https://www.nifootballleague.com/premiership/2024-2025/fixtures/
Second one: I always wanna read some classical literature from the country I'm visiting. In relation to NI for sure my interest is literature about the conflict. So books which are read in school, which are famous or are a "must read".
If you have a special book in mind, maybe just drop it. I thin I can manage to read up to 2-3 books during my stay and would love to pick the best ones :)
So far from me and I'm allready excited!
Greetings from Berlin!
