Blessington Lake fishing

Hey my wife and I are going to Ireland this July. She's infatuated with the PS I love you movie and in the movie is the Blessington Lake for a brief fishing scene. Was hoping to rent a boat on the lake and fishing equipment. I had all lined up with Blessington Lake boat hire but they are closed! Is there an alternative on the lake where I can rent a boat and fishing poles/lures and catch some northern pike and make all her wildest dreams come true?
