Cycling the Wild Atlantic Way - Kerry and Cork wild camping spots?

I'm cycling from Killarney to Kinsale, mostly along the Wild Atlantic Way (scenic route that hugs the coast) starting Monday. I'm hoping to wild camp (camping somewhere in nature that's not a formal campground) as much as I can throughout the trip. It's hard to judge which areas are best for wild camping without having visited the area. Good spots are public land and away from traffic. Any recommendations on wild camping spots from cyclist who have done the route or others who know the area?
