The title is pretty self explanatory. I became interested in this historical event but I have a lot of questions about it. I often find documentaries a nice way to step into an issue and familiarize yourself with the actors involved and the background. Trouble is that looking up this subject leads me to what I can only assume is Sunni sources that view it as a great tragedy and a crime. While I appreciate this may seem to be that way to Sunnis I cannot help but feel that this is not a very impartial way of looking at it.
Is there a great concise way of reading or hopefully listening to this story that is not too influenced by ones own viewpoint?
Any ideas?
