Hello, my name is Seamak. I am a 39 year-old Persian who was born in America. My parents have always spoken both Farsi and what they call Turkish/Azeri, but they mainly have spoken Azeri at home or with my cousins/uncles/aunts at family gatherings. I found lessons on how to speak Farsi all over YouTube. But lessons for the version of Azeri that I am looking for either doesn't exist on YouTube, or I am unable to find it for one reason or another (possibly because it goes by a different name). I have been practicing Azeri with my mother for decades, but still have not mastered it. I want to do so, as well as master Farsi, because I would like to go back to Iran to visit in the coming years and want to be able to speak both languages fluently.
Does anyone know any resources that I can use online to learn Azeri fluently. Please note: I am not talking about Azerbaijani Azeri. I am referring to the Azeri spoken in Tabriz and similar parts of Iran.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
