What would you like to see in a modern reinterpretation of the iPod ?

To make it short, me and a friend both love the iPod. So we decided to start a shared project to work out a modern reinterpretation of the iPod. But first I would love to know what the community would like to see of it and some feedback on current ideas.

Currently the following things are on the table: - Flat edge design (similar to current iPhones) - Full Bluetooth compatibility - Wireless charging - Backplate made from Plastic (considering transparency or a design resembling ideas like the Nothing Phones) - NAND Flash based storage, resulting in lighter device and more space for components - extended Battery to set off the power consumption of modern parts like Bluetooth - high quality DAC - USB-C (3.0 ) for fast transfer of music files
