Snapchat help ideas?

I have iPhone 8 Plus with most up to date iOS. For some reason the past few weeks my front facing camera and back facing camera, when I zoom in, it won’t let me zoom back out. I use to be able to do the one hand zoom in and out in and out and now I just zoom in and it won’t let me go back.. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, worked he first time now is doing it again. If I go to my camera app it doesn’t do that. Just in snapchat. Does anyone know what the HELL is going on?
