I’m not an iPhone expert, so please be kind. I’ve had a few iPhones and my current iPhone is a 12; previously I had an xr. My spouse has the same iPhone 12. We’re looking to upgrade to a 15. We were hoping for better battery life and possibly a better antenna/modem as we live in an area with not great cellular service no matter which provider we use.
In looking at Apple’s website, it seems that the 15 pro gives me:
120 hz refresh vs 60. I currently have 60 hz and don’t have a problem with it
Titanium vs aluminum case
Action button vs ring/silent switch
An extra core in the chip
3x zoom vs 2x
I’m not sure these things would be worth an extra $200 per phone, but maybe they are. Just looking for a new phone to do the most basic tasks. No video games, no photo editing except what the phone provides, and really average apps.
Can someone who has tried both phones give me an honest opinion? Thank you
