Finally got my iPhone 15+ this weekend. Is getting an iCloud a must?

Been an Android user since forever and yesterday, I finally got my 15 base model. I know most will frown on my choice but this phone basically meets my needs. I don’t mind the 60hz since I’m used to it already. I didn’t get the 256gb as I will be using my S20 still and I don’t have really so much apps save for FB, SC, IG and 2 more messaging platforms.

Now I’m wondering coz my friends told me to use iCloud for convenience as I am also using a MacBook. I have a GDrive subscription for 100gb but I’m open to getting using iCloud if it’s better for my devices.

I’m still new to this ecosystem so I hope you guys can understand why I’m asking such ☺️
