Randomly shutting down and won’t restart

I have a iPhone 8 with iOS 11.4.1 and the last bit it’s been shutting down randomly usually around the 50-60% amount and won’t turn back on, I get the Apple logo then the wait icon when it shuts back down. It doesn’t fully boot just Apple logo and then shutdown . Any insight into what’s going on? To turn it back on I have to plug into a power source
