Text tone has a mind of its own

Hello my 6s has been pissing me off the last little while now it would be to something that I’ve purchased, then after so many reboots or I turn it off for awhile it’ll ring the default sound and say that it’s the one I want and won’t go back even though I set it as desired text tone. Anyone else have this problem or fix
