When will Apple release a waterproof iPhone!

With a slew of competitors releasing waterproof devices, when will Apple get on this bandwagon. This is not the same as a larger screen or OS feature that Apple doesn't give fans because of some complicated reason. Waterproof phones are IMHO going to be a standard soon. I'm not usually on the "Apple needs to compete" bandwagon but this is something I think they really need to get on top of! Comments? Opinions?
