iTunes star rating with iPhone... lack of development

Anyone else use iTunes star rating with iPhone? Star Rating in iTunes and iPhone (and being able to sync between devices) has been one of my favorite features.

However, i've found it has been becoming less relevant. I have painstakingly rated most all of my songs. And i've found that iTunes DJ takes my ratings into account FAR less. Also, why don't they allow this feature to be usable in genius? Sure I can sort by stars... but i'd rather shuffle and have my star rated tunes used more often.

Also, i'd love to see Siri be able to star rate songs for me to help make the process less intrusive. For example:

"Siri: rate this song 5 stars."
