iPad Mini 6 vs iPad Pro 9.7 (2016)

Hi guys, I'm currently using iPad Pro 9.7 (2016) and is thinking bout upgrade (2GB RAM is not enough nowadays).
Is it worth to go for iPad Mini 6 (despite the battery capacity and screen size downgrade) or you would suggest to wait for the new iPad Air?
I mainly use my iPad for media consumption and mobile gaming.
