Just got an iPad mini, what do I do with it?

Just got an iPad mini like the title says, but have no idea what to do with it, as it was a gift. Im currently doing pixel art on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. I downloaded some books and filled the library app on the iPad, but other than that, it gathers dust. I tried to put my music from iTunes on it, but that’s not an option anymore? I don’t like the idea of streaming music that I don’t physically own - so I’m not into Apple Music. I’d like to use it for something, but have no idea what makes the device special. I like that it’s small though lol
