I’m considering getting a 13 inch M4 iPad Pro. I got an 11 inch M2 iPad Pro a few months ago and it’s great.

However for proper entertainment consumption, and portable photo editing via Lightroom CC/Classic, I’m considering getting an 13 inch M4.

I do have a MacBook Air M2, but that’s for longer photo editing sessions. I connect it to my display at home and use it as a desktop. No need for a Mac mini for the time being.

The M4 is lighter than the M2 Air and a bit more portable. I can carry it with me on photo shoots.

I do want a device that’s in between the iPad and the Mac. Big enough for photo editing and media consumption but also personal enough that I can hold it in my hand and use it.

Should I upgrade?
