I could not tell you where or when I bought most of the things I own, electronic or otherwise. But, I remember exactly where I was when I got my iPad 2nd gen. I was sitting in my car, in the parking lot of a Best Buy, watching news coverage on my iPad 1st gen of the Fukushima disaster. Not only was what happened at Fukushima incredibly memorable (and terrible), but I also remember the feeling, and this was 2011, of being able to watch news coverage, in my car, on a 9" screen.
So, does anyone else have an experience like this? I see posts sometimes about inheriting an iPad from a dead relative, so I am not really talking about that. More like world news or world events. Like, did you find out about 9/11 because you bought an iPad that day, and it was the first thing you saw on Google?
