Has anyone done this and regretted it?
I did a few years ago and hated it. But I'm so tired of missing random texts in group texts with iPhone users, my short battery life, and my airpod issues that I'm considering it again. Fortunately, I made a list of the things I hated back then. Can any former Android users comment on the state of these things? I don't want to make the switch and regret it again.
Things I hated:
No back button Voice texting much worse No Gboard
Finicky screen Odd capitalizations. Going midword to correct and it capitalizes The wheel for number entry. Let me enter it manually Apps more expensive Censoring predictive text--let me swear Aggressive autocorrecting - your/youโre Can't Search emojis Can't Search gifs with swear words Locating apps Sorting apps Apple Maps Safari Buggy selection of text Iphone battery and flash Select a phone number, I probably want to call it, so make that an option Only One item on the clipboard Notifications multiple times Notifications of reactions
There are obviously positives or I wouldn't consider the switch, and none of these are deal breakers--just curious what fixes for these former Android users have come up with.
Edit: sorry for the lack of punctuation or line breaks up there. In edit mode, it looks just fine, but it looks all strange on the final post. I think you get the idea.
