Contacts not syncing to iCloud

I recently moved from Android to iPhone and used the Move To IOS app to get all my contacts. I recently opened iCloud and none of my contacts show there. Contacts sync is also enabled in iCloud but that doesn't have any effect.
Any idea on how to solve this one?
