Deleting ALL the passwords from an iPAD

Post Body

This one has me pulling my hair in frustration. There is no easy way to delete all the passwords in iOS.

I can delete them by going to settings->Password->edit and then selecting them one by one. But I have thousands of them and I don't want to sit here and click the whole day.

Note that I do not want to delete the passwords from my other devices. Just this one. So I have come up with this approach - please see if it would work:

  1. Stop all my other devices from syncing with iCloud, specially keep one Mac with passwords not synced with iCloud (the backup)
  2. Enable cloud sync of passwords on the device under question and a Mac.
  3. Delete all the passwords on Mac->Safari->Preferences->Passwords. Select All (Cmd-A) and delete
  4. Let this deletion sync with iPad. Then stop syncing it with iCloud passwords
  5. Now reconnect the backup mac to iCloud and let it propagate passwords everywhere.

But something tells me that if I try this I will lose all my passwords everywhere. Why is this so hard?
