At what point do I sell a stock for the profit?

Post Body

I am new to investing and have money in a stock. It has over a 20% return in gains now and I am wondering at what point do I sell it to reap those gains? Do I hold it if it is still going up in price? Do I just sell the profits? I am ultimately wanting to lock in those profits and keep reinvesting them. I don’t know my next steps are to do this. For clarity I’m working with an initial investment of 2k, (didn’t want to risk more at this time while I’m learning the ropes). The stock in question has a 1k initial investment and is still going up in price.
