Advice on where to put 10k for a year

My wife and I are 33/35 both employed, and just had our first child. We have an extra 10k that we don’t absolutely need to have immediately accessible. I’m looking for suggestions on where to put the money for a year or so with best possible return and limited risk. I’m thinking just a high yield savings but would like to hear other options. Thank you
