I was sitting around one day thinking too much, just as I always do. I realized that I had nothing, and that made me sad. I was 41 years old when I even considered the idea. I had an addictive spending problem on a videogame. I had stopped spending, but there was a bundle that I really wanted. I put that money into the stock market instead. I looked on CashApp, researched companies, and then decided on which one would make my $ work. Then, I'd use the profits to buy my game content. When I made my first profit, I didn't buy video game content. I kept growing and learning about investing. I began to enjoy it and gain a much larger perspective than I could imagine. Three years later, I'm still invested and adding more bit by bit.
