Now that interest rates have started to move up. I have a substantial amount of cash sitting in bank accounts which are not paying any type of interest.
I believe the fed will continue to raise interest rates this year so I want to go into short term instruments. I want the instruments to be safe. Would that be treasury bonds, ultra short term corporate bonds? I don’t want anything with the maturity over 30 days because of the fact of rising interest rates.
I have a big stock portfolio, so I don’t really want to put it into the stock market. Prefer fixed income products.
Look forward to hearing some suggestions.
