Investing is about predicting the future. What are some technologies or markets you see playing a big role 10 years or more from now?

Too often I feel like the discussion here is short-term based, what will happen to such and such company for the next days or week.
15 years ago it was not so clear as it is today that tech would grow like it has; now it seems obvious that Netflix and Google and Apple were set up to dominate.
I am challenging you to think further; What are technologies or markets that will change the way we live or consume in the next 10 or more years?
