Read the article with interest but was mostly amused with the business model:

1) Most charge a subscription of $70 - 400 / month or % of AUM. Your choice.

2) The primary value proposition I see they bring to the table is that they are mindful of the profound impact of student debt on dual income/dual commuting couples and that they tell couples struggling to conceive that it's ok to spend $20k on IVF.

3) Most don't mention the topic of retirement at all during the initial few meetings.
