I found out I was introverted when I was 25 and everything clicked into place since then.
Having a greater awareness of my introversion has been a blessing and a curse in equal measure. A blessing in the sense that I truly understand how I work, but a curse as I’m less likely to force myself attend a social event/drain my batteries because it’s deemed to be the ‘social norm’.
At work, I feel like I have to mask my introversion, which is exhausting, but I’ve finally found a sub full of people who just “get it”.
After this post im going back to recharging alone in a dark room and just enjoying the ambiance 🌞
