My friend and I recently had a discussion about depression, and the topic of Isolation came up as a major factor. It had gotten to the point where I told her that me being introverted makes thinks a whole hell of a lot harder, which she told me that the reason Im single is because Im introverted. Being single is a depression trigger for me (true) and being isolated from people is the direct cause of it.
Even though she too is single, she’s most definitely an extroverted person. She loves the clubs, the parties, talks to a ton of people, always very social etc.
Im the exact opposite, and I can’t handle more than a small handful of people at a time. How do I explain to her that me being an Introvert is not the root cause of me being single?
