Problems with running

HP REVERB G2 setup and the controllers have been setup with a controller map with loads of hours of play and all buttons work fine i just not able to run or walk normal speed i just sneak all the time and when i do get it to run i can never get it to do it again after it should be as default in the game push forward on both sticks - just tell me if i doing it wrong - or to use another controller map ..help as i getting to the point where i just dont want to play it....
