Graphic Tees and Lying

Post Body

This post is really 2 completely separate questions:

*How do you all feel about graphics tees that say phrases or jokes on them? I’m not talking about T-shirt with a brand name or even a sports/support of a buddy’s business; I am talking about T-shirts that say something like “FBI: Female Body Inspector” or some shit like that. T-Shirts that require reading. The consensus was that we all dislike signs like “live, love, laugh” on the walls of our homes, so I was curious if this carried over to clothing choices… it certainly carries over for me.

*Second Question, do you have the ability to lie? I have a very hard time telling a lie, even if to spare someone’s feelings. I believe omissions are lies as well. I can’t stand a liar.

Recently, I saw a meme on this sub about the husband asking his wife if she is attracted to him and she paused, then replied ‘I appreciate your contribution to the household’.

I thought that was hilarious, definitely something I would say. I easily and unknowingly, display my emotions and feelings on my face. No matter how hard I try to hold a blank stare, I guess my face tells it all. This is a blessing and a curse, obviously. I am proud to say I don’t lie. I do wish I was able to hold conversations where I can mute my look of distaste or disapproval. This can be a problem, professionally, when receiving instruction from an authority figure, when/if I don’t necessarily agree with the method of execution or whatever.

I hope this made sense.
