Over the last six months my core group of friends has scattered across the nation. Great job or education opportunities in other places. Frankly ecstatic that they are kicking ass in life.
However I have been left without any real friends in the area and I am starting to feel like a fish out of water. The two people I occasionally will hang out with I can't handle long term hanging out with. I can't talk about a single interesting topic with any one and I have found it is starting to affect my mood. With the two people still in town they refuse to talk about anything but video games, table top gaming, MMA or football and I could use a change.
I have just become more introverted with sticking to my hobbies. Rebuilding a robot and been picking up brewing again with bouts of reading. However some social interaction is kind of nice. So basically..
tl;dr How the hell does a strong introvert go about finding groups of people to hang out with. This is a missing skill of mine.
