I know for myself I have considered going back to school, but in between needing certifications for work (thus preventing me from taking side classes), I don't plan to real soon. However, maybe in another year I might try taking classes at the local CC for a certification and work my way up to another degree. But my post is not about that, but more about any degrees you did get. I know when I got mine I thought it was a joke honestly. I wanted to go for MIS, but I did not want to leave my small town, so I took a BA in business and did not take it seriously, but still got a decent job. Outside Stats, quality management, accounting (did shitty in it, but I still have reverence for it) , and personal management, most of it seemed like fluff and I was not going to a top school, so I felt like bsing, which I did. If I do decide to go back (which I might if I stagnate in my current career), I would go for operations research, or barring that, computer science. I would have to work my ass off, but it is something that is interesting to me, so I would be willing to work at it. Has anyone else experienced this?
